Just 50 minutes from Dullstroom in Mpumalanga, we provide the perfect backdrop to celebrate love of any sort. We specialise in setting the scene for cozy celebrations and we’ve come to believe peace is always beautiful.
We’re also an active agricultural business, farming with, cattle, corn, and soya beans. On the land, we have a beautiful private forest, century-old buildings, and rustic spaces, lovingly transformed into contemporary venue and accommodation options. All this and more sets the scene for intimate weddings.

Acorn was born out of great relationships. Those with our community as a farm, and the relationships with each other as brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers. Our resident friendly farmers are the two Combrink brothers, Johan and Hendrik and their father, oom Hendrik. The lovely ladies who will take care of all your needs during your stay are Corlien and Christelle Combrink - best friends and wives to Hendrik and Johan.

We wanted people to experience love in a place overflowing with joy. It started as a dream that naturally progressed into a business. Our first events were created out of a desire to give something back to our community, and friends who wanted to make their vows under the willow tree and party in the forest.

We’ve cared for the land and our surrounding community for four generations. Making memories special for other people at a time when they are becoming a family is an experience that makes the journey special for us. We share a motherly instinct with the land, helping nurture love, relationships and nature.
Our purpose stems from our heritage, our bonds and the urge to create something from nothing, and be able to share a beautiful space with new friends. We grew from guest farm to wedding venue and we’ve been bringing people together ever since.
